We are a fun, ambitious, and growing residential heating and cooling company with over 40 years of combined history in the Mississauga and area communities. We are looking for an energetic, motivated person to join our HVAC client service/sales team as a Customer Sales and Service Advisor.
This is a dynamic and challenging role, with many different tasks and opportunities. For example, you will answer the phones and help address the needs of our clients, by asking a number of questions that help to identify their specific requirements. You will also conduct outgoing calls to schedule service and installation appointments. You will explain the benefits of our service plans and help answer questions for clients. This is a great program, with an easy-to-pitch value proposition that earns you incentives. You will help with various office and marketing tasks and work as part of a home service advisor team.
We are looking for someone to generally work from noon until about 7 pm.
Specific duties include:
- Customer service duties, providing exceptional customer service skills.
- Make and answer phone calls.
- Support our current advisors by following up with clients they are still in process with when they leave at the end of their day.
- Use electronic platforms to conduct various duties within the role.
- Correspond (e-mail, phone, text, etc.) with various managers, coworkers, technicians and clients.
- Book service appointments and tie in current promotions.
- Work directly with the Manager of Sales and Marketing to take on special projects in marketing that help bolster sales.
- Deal with customer invoices.
- Collect payments and work with admin staff in regards to customer statements.
- Open/close shift responsibilities.
- Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Trainable and has an approachable always-learning attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High standards of customer service
- Business to Consumer sales ability (or interest in it)
- Evolving knowledge of digital tools, social media, and various methods clients prefer to use for the purpose of appointment booking and communication.
- Independent and collaborative problem-solving
- Organizational and time management skills
- Experience working on screens and adapting methods to support physical and mental health
Extra Skills We'd Love if you Have:
- Experience in the HVAC industry
- Google Workspace
- Proven track record of success in selling
- Flexibility with schedule (in return we will try to give you flexibility with time off)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
